Fix The District WIMBLEDON

How to chip in

Pay online with Monzo or Revolut. You don't need an account with either. Revolut takes debit and credit cards and Apple Pay; Monzo doesn't take credit or prepaid cards. If one doesn't go through, try the other. Either way, the money goes to Max Barber, one of the organisers.

If you'd rather make a bank transfer, email us and we'll reply with the details. We'll only name you as a supporter on this site if you tell us we can.

What the money pays for

  • Kit for demonstrations: banners, placards and boards, made to be used again at every demonstration.
  • Flyers and posters for the stations along the branch.
  • A small budget to promote our posts on social media, so more passengers find the petition.
  • Printed copies of the petition for when we hand it in.

Good to know

  • Who holds the money. Until the campaign has an account of its own, contributions are paid into the account of one of the organisers, Max Barber, and spent only on the campaign.
  • We're not a charity. Fix The District is a volunteer campaign, not a registered charity, so we can't claim Gift Aid on what you give.
  • Change.org's “chip in”. If change.org asks you to chip in after you sign the petition, that money pays change.org to promote the petition on its own site. None of it reaches Fix The District.
  • Your details. We keep a record of who gave what, so that our accounts add up. The privacy notice explains what we keep.
